Membership Requirements

 

To join the association chaperones and tutors must have reached a professional level.

Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years professional experience as a chaperone or chaperone/tutor this is defined as credits on their CV plus a reference. They must always hold the following:

 

Professional chaperones licence

Enhanced DBS

Child regulatory training*

Safeguarding training**

 

Applications must agree to abide by the YPA chaperone and tutor code of conduct.

Fees

Annual subscription fee: £20.00***

or other CPD accredited safeguarding training.
